So I found out yesterday, that as part of my revision before the start of my PGCE I have to begin reading children's literature and keep a journal of my thoughts on these books. Apparently this is something that I am going to have to keep up through the course, but as I have never officially 'reviewed' books, children or otherwise I am not quite sure where to start with this.
I'm not really excited about reading children's books, as none of them appeal to my own reading tastes but I am sure that once I start this I will find something that takes my fancy.
First order of business, finding children's books that are on amazon unlimited so I don't have to spend a fortune on books, or rejoin the library....Watch this space!
